You must be registered to vote by this Friday

WHILE there will not be an election for Morval Parish Council next month, parishioners will still be going to the polls to elect a successor to Armand Toms, who is retiring as the Independent member for the Looe East and Deviock ward (it includes Morval) on Cornwall County Council.

And if you want to take part in the elections on Thursday, May 1, now’s the time to make sure you’re registered to vote… but be quick – you must be registered by Friday (April 11).

Cornwall Council’s latest ‘Stay in Touch’ newsletter has all the details you need to make sure you can vote.

PLUS… help is available for those struggling to pay their bills… a reminder that the technology supporting old style RTS electricity meters will be discontinued in June (so you might need to switch to a Smart Meter)… and a plea to stop ordering more prescription medicines than you actually need each month.
