Play Park ‘Friends’ still needed

STILL urgently needed are volunteers to serve alongside parish councillors on the new Morval Parish Play Park’s Focus Group.

There is no financial commitment or obligation for any parents or individuals able to help.

But the Government has reiterated that the Focus Group MUST to be formed as soon as possible, otherwise the parish will be in breach of its agreement when receiving the £180,000 grant (without which the play area at Farriers Way, Widegates, would still be a dream).

While Government sources have indicated they appreciate that bad weather has led to a delay in finishing the park, it  still wants the Focus Group established before the project is officially handed over to the Parish Council.

The council will be responsible for the ‘management’ body (and will also be represented on it) but anyone interested in guiding the facility in the years ahead is urged to sign up for this ‘Friends of…’ organisation as soon as possible.
