Water roadshow coming to Looe
SOUTH West Water is flowing its information channels towards Looe later this month for a chance to learn how the water and waste-water systems work.
Daniella Twelvetree, the director of customer communications and engagement at the Exeter-based operations, says that residents of Morval Parish are invited to attend the roadshow on Wednesday, January 29.
“You’ll meet some of our colleagues who bring our services to life,” she says. “And have the opportunity to learn more about our waste-water performance; our plans for change, and our investments in drinking water in Looe.”
The roadshow is being held at the Millpool Centre, The Millpool, West Looe, PL13 2AF, and runs from 12 noon until 4.00 pm on Wednesday, January 29.
But spaces are limited and anyone wishing to attend should register here: https://www.southwestwater.co.uk/about-us/what-we-do/get-involved/roadshows?utm_source=South+West+Water&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=14808535_Looe+Roadshow&utm_content=sign_up_link&dm_i=1FMM,8TEC7,VP0G1R,10OITZ,1
Adds Daniella: “There'll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and share your thoughts and ideas.”
South West Water says that the principle behind the roadshow is to share information on the local water and waste-water services, explaining the work it is doing at present, and what it has planned up to 2030.
“What makes the roadshows different is that they’re conversation-based,” says Daniella.
“There will be information boards on display and experts from around the business ready to talk about the things that matter to you, and answer any of your questions.”

The roadshow intends to focus on four key areas:
- Investing in water quality and water resilience;
- Tackling storm overflows and pollution;
- Delivering for customers and addressing affordability, and
- Reaching net zero and enhancing environmental gain.
