Road to Golf Club will be closed for a week

CORNWALL Council has sanctioned this month’s temporary closure of the road from Nomansland to Venton Vanes (past the Looe Golf Club entrance at Bindown).

Essential drainage works will require a diversion to be put in place, preventing drivers from using the unclassified ‘cut through’ road from the B3253 at Nomansland to the A387 at the Alms Cross crossroads.

Cormac Solutions Ltd need the 24-hour-a-day closure to carry out important repairs from Monday, January 13 to Friday, January17.

Diversions will be advertised using the B3252 road from Nomansland to Shortacross, Widegates.

Pedestrian access will be maintained to properties and golfers using the fairways and greens at Bindown will still have vehicular access from the A387 (Morval-Widegates) at Alms Cross.
