Household Support Fund could provide cash boost for some residents

CORNWALL Council’s ‘Stay in Touch’ newsletter this week has details about a £4.5-million Household Support Fund that could benefit low-income families.

Plus… there’s (another) reminder about getting pension credit (for those eligible pensioners); a reminder that Lifeguard cover on some of our beaches is finishing, now that the summer season has come to an end; a salute to Cornwall’s adult social care workers; an invitation to take part in a county-wide dementia survey, and a chance to become an on-call member of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Services.
