Parish now has a Foodbank co-ordinator

WIDEGATES and the wider Morval Parish are now included in the Liskeard and Looe Foodbank district.

Carolyn J Allen, who is well-known known in the parish, particularly for her support of the village hall, has been appointed a referral agent for the Liskeard, Looe, Torpoint and Rame area.

Anyone who needs held should contact her and she will send a referral. 

The foodbank is open in Liskeard on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays (9.00 am until 12.15 pm), and at The Haven in Looe on Monday and Thursdays (2.00 pm to 4.00 pm).

All you need to bring when collecting food is carrier bags.
