Help is on hand to tackle all forms of abuse…
THE Safer Cornwall Partnership has made renewed calls to all residents of the county to help end domestic abuse and sexual violence in communities.
The plea, reported in Cornwall Council’s ‘Stay in Touch’ newsletter, comes after statistics revealed that sexual offences in Cornwall had risen 40 per cent over the past four years, with more than 30 instances a week notified to police.
There is also news about the launch of a podcast series called ‘Empowered Parenting’… plus …another ‘Eat Well, Spend Less’ recipe… a reminder to make sure that young people’s vaccinations are up to date… and what to do with your old wetsuit.
