County waives parking charges on three dates

IT will be free to park in all Cornwall Council-owned car parks on three dates this month, including tomorrow’s Small Business Saturday (Saturday, December 7).

All County Council ‘Pay and Display’ and ‘pay on exit’ car parks, as well as the Truro ‘Park and Ride’, will be free on two Saturdays in December – December 7 and 14 – and again on Monday, December 23. 

There will be posters about the parking offer at charging points on the free parking days.

In addition Looe Harbour Commissoners are offering free parking in their West Looe Quay and Buller Quay (East Looe) car parks on Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21 in the run-up to Christmas.
